PEI Software Distribution, Version 1.253


This software distribution replaces version 1.251 of the peiCof COF
compliance checker and includes the changes listed below.
Refer to the manual page (peiCof.1 or peiCof.pdf) for operating
information, and to the file doc1.251 for program installation.


Changes in peiCof from version 1.251 to version 1.253:

1.  Checking of the DBF and NDX files was added.

2.  Checking of data consistency was added.  Specifically, the
    data fields in the IMG file are checked against the records
    in the DBF file, and the key entries in the NDX files are
    also checked against the DBF file.

3.  Options were added that give the user greater control over
    reporting of errors and warnings and over program aborting.

4.  The following files were affected:

	peiCof.c	the C source for peiCof
	peiCof.ps	the peiCof manual page in PostScript
	peiCof.pdf	the peiCof manual page in PDF
	doc1.253	this document, a new file
